Map of the tribes found in Zambia

This is a list of the 72 Tribes of Zambia in alphabetical order. Zambia is a linguistically diverse Central African nation of over 13 million people. In Zambia to talk of the tribes is also to talk of the languages as their are a few naming differences between the language and the tribe name.

So considered among the seven major local language clusters of Bemba, Tonga, Lozi, Nyanja, Kaonde, Lunda and Luvale, Bemba emerges as the foremost lingua franca in Zambia.
